Sure it cost us more to build the Inetekk technology by ourselves and outsourcing to US programmers and US software developers. The prospect of sending our work abroad was never a consideration. Primarily doing so we lose the security of proprietary development to another country were we have little if any legal control regardless of how cheap that option could be. Then quality and communications is another factor, but we are also sensitive to doing business within our culture because of the process of getting what we are looking for and having the ability to have laws in effect that protect our interest in getting just what we are paying for.

We are constantly getting offers to do our work at deep discounts by these foreign nationals, primarily India, but we are not cheap price motivated. Even our support service is run by Americans in America. We may ad to our support from Australia, but that is because they can offer the needed time frame for that region, not a cost consideration, so we can offer 24/7 seamless support for our clientele. Plus we have many Australian and New Zealander subscribers using our services and we love their accents.

When we first started building the Inetekk systems, we went from a shared server in Florida to needing our own servers. We could have co located our servers in a foreign company for 1/3rd the cost but we realized by doing so our proprietary technology and secured databases would be at risk. Not a good idea. So we contracted with a well know company in San Jose. This was expensive but a very good decision. As the Internet has grown, the necessity to keep your data well secured is of the utmost importance and again, keeping this service local has proved to be a very good decision.

Servers built in USA
As we started building our server farm, again quality and service were the key issue. We went to a local shop in San Diego and hired them to build them. The first server, unaware to us, was built from foreign parts and within weeks the server started having failure issues. From then on we have demanded that all parts be US made as best we could and we have never had issues since. Our farm now runs with US made servers like NetAps, Intel, etc.

IT services by Americans
As with any server farm and web systems, having good IT professional's is imperative, and again, we hired US IT database engineers and server engineers. Same reason as our security is key and far more important than cost. For example, to use foreign IT services cost around $10 per hour. US costs are around $150 per hour. In my humble opinion, you get what you pay for.

The bottom line is future forecasting. I subscribe to the belief that our customers deserve the very best. Not only in the quality of the service, or the best customer support, but also security and the dedication to keep Inetekk around for the long run delivering the very best.

It seems the the big corporations in the US have lost sight to this fact and are all heading for serious issues as they continue down this road to losing control of their companies to the quest for seeking the lowest prices regardless. Take the Mattel toy company for example. Not long ago all their toys were US built. Today, they have lost major market share because the toys the sell now coming from Red China are toxic and low quality. It is scandalous that our children are getting toys painted with lead paint.

The future is at risk.

Your Business Professional

As a Business Professional, it frustrates me when I see people get fooled, by get-rich-quick schemes on the Internet. And believe me, there are tons of them out there, waiting to snatch some victims money. What about you, are you one of the victims? Are you giving up your financial freedom and your dreams? Please don't.

Allow me to share with you some important truths that are essential to your Internet success (and possibly to your mental well-being!).

Don't go chasing every new Internet marketing deal or program. People are looking for information and solutions not hype and advertising. It is apparent to me that a large number of people are trying to setup a small business on Google.  In my experience online over the past years, it also seems as though the tendency just to join an program of some sort, and then hope for the best that people will  join with little or no effort on their own behalf. This misconception could possibly be the reason that a large number of people who begin a small business online are not seeing the kind of results that they are hoping for.  There is much more to becoming a small business professional online that people could ever imagine.  Perhaps at one time, the internet was full of nothing much more than classified ads and message boards.  People would post their opportunities, and then someone would respond to that posting.  In today's advanced marketing systems, it is apparent that you really need to be educated in the art and science of creating wealth from a small home business.
 
In my seo business, I am in contact with large numbers of prospects.  These people have a self-replicated site, or one of their own making.  The think that they have everything in place, but are confused as to why they are not making money.  In reality, they are not even close to actually being seen on Google.  Most, if not all, of the self-replicated affiliate sites that I view are search engine compatible.  In other words, they are not tagged correctly, and have none of the essential elements they need to get to the top of a keyword category on the internet.  This leads to frustration for the small business owner.  While they may have the best widget created, if no one sees their information, then what are the chances that they will ever make money with that widget?  I will answer that with a clear, no chance at all.  The person has not dedicated themselves to becoming educated about how to conduct business online.  We now enter into a new area I call becoming a true small business professional.
 
In my description of a true small business professional, I will go into the needed elements that one needs to have in place to have a chance at success online.  This will include the first and most element called visualization.  You must first visualize your success.  You must have clearly designed objectives in place before setting about the task of proving yourself as a business professional.  Clearly defined goals are not "I need to make money."  Questions need to raised here.  How much money do you need to make in a month to become self sustaining from an online business?  How much spendable income would make you realize your dreams of home business success?  These questions need to be clearly answered before beginning the work of promoting the small business online.
 
After the visualization and defining the goals of a small business, then you need to proceed to become educated in exactly how the internet works.  You must realize that Google is all about good and original content.  When the website that you create for promoting your business is tagged properly, has a sound metatag description and contains relevant and insightful content, then you may be well on your way to becoming successful.  Marketing successfully on Google is really all about getting well schooled in the arts of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, lead generation, building effective websites, writing original content and, the most important of all, consistency.  You simply must be consistent day after day in your pursuit of excellence.  If you choose to dedicate the rest of your life to becoming successful online, then you will have the best chance of success.  Conversely, if you choose to just think like most people do about marketing online, your success rate will be little, or none.
 
I have asked many people in my seo training classes an important question.  Do you really know everything that there is to know about the program or service that you are attempting to market to others?  To my amazement, the answer to this question is no about 99% of the time.  In other words, you are just a man or woman trying to sell your widget to others, without really knowing all the details of that widget.  Need I say more about becoming a true small business professional?  It is a matter of putting all the pieces of the Google puzzle together in a clear and concise fashion.  If you do, you will have the success that you desire from a small business online.

Writing to Win

Writing to win is a goal that some Business Professionals may at first find difficult. I know it was for me, but after being urged to begin writing by a Mentoring Master, I finally did.

Of course, he was right and much to my surprise, my ranking on Google began to rise, and quickly I might add.

The advice offered to me by this Mentor was simple "You want to become good at writing ? Then start writing." I am, of course speaking of "The SEO Master." Butch Hamilton continues to be an inspiration in my pursuit of online excellence.
